The free-to-play mobile game Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes is constantly expanding its monumental roster of characters. This week, Leia Organa became the latest addition to the experience — though this version looks a little different.

For the first time, a version of Leia is now available to unlock as a Galactic Legend. This version of the character is  Light Side Rebel, Leader, and Tank, and is a worthy opponent of other GL characters who pairs exceptionally well with other Rebels. She has the best synergy with Jedi Rebel Tanks such as Kanan Jarrus. (She did meet him once, remember?)

First introduced in 2020, Galactic Legend characters are designed to be the most difficult to unlock — but the rewards are worth the effort. Players who have the majority of their characters leveled up nearly as high as they can go will have a slightly easier time unlocking these characters, but it’s still a feat not everyone will achieve with minimal effort.

The devs chose Leia’s Endor Strike Team outfit to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, though she doesn’t necessarily need to fight alongside other rebels in Endor gear. Imagine how cool that would be, though. She and Wicket are going to make a terrifying (and unstoppable) team … once we get around to unlocking Leia, that is.

Galactic Legend Leia Organa is available to unlock now — if you can meet the many prerequisites required to begin her journey, that is. You can learn more about her in the official Galactic Legend Leia Organa kit reveal.

Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes is free to play on iOS and Android devices.
