Every Galactic Legend character in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes
By Meg Dowell
The free-to-play mobile game Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes made its grand debut on November 24, 2015. In the nearly eight years since its launch, the game has added hundreds of characters and continuously updated its gameplay modes and tactics.
Adding Galactic Legends was a more recent addition to the game that opened up even more opportunities for advanced players.
What are Galactic Legends in Galaxy of Heroes?
Unlike other characters unlocked through the Journey Guides section of the game, Galactic Legends are extremely difficult to complete even for advanced players. Their prerequisite lists are longer, usually requiring characters to be upgraded to high Relic levels. Relic upgrades require extensive gameplay over long periods of time — especially if you don’t pay to refresh your countdowns.
Galactic Legends certainly aren’t impossible to unlock — and when you do manage to start unlocking and leveling up these characters, the benefits are worth the grind.
Galactic Legends are extremely powerful characters with abilities that really only butt up against other GLs. Unlocking even one of these characters puts you on a whole new playing field, allowing you to advance in your rankings and compete against other players with similarly powerful squads.
Every Galactic Legend Character in Galaxy of Heroes (So Far)
The game has reserved Galactic Legend status for some of the franchise’s most notable heroes and villains. While other versions of these characters exist, they aren’t as powerful and don’t have the abilities that make them unique.
Here are the Galactic Legend characters available so far, likely with more on the way:
- Jabba the Hutt
- Jedi Master Kenobi
- Jedi Master Luke Skywalker
- Supreme Leader Kylo Ren
- Rey
- Sith Eternal Emperor
- Lord Vader
- Leia Organa
Each Galactic Legend has its own set of prerequisites that you can view by navigating to their respective Journey Guide pages. So even if you aren’t quite ready to begin one of these journeys, you can at least start leveling up the characters you will need for the ones you most desire.
Good luck heroes — and may the Force be with your bank accounts (if you so choose to speed things up).
Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes is free to play on iOS and Android devices.
