Ahsoka Episode 6, “Far, Far Away,” gave us a look at Peridea, and brought Grand Admiral Thrawn and Ezra Bridger to live action. We now know where Thrawn and Ezra have been all this time and what Thrawn is cooking, at least some part of it. There’s also clarity on Baylan Skoll’s plans and the role the Nightsisters are playing in Thrawn’s return to the galaxy.

Nevertheless, events in Episode 6 raise some big questions about what lies ahead in the series. Here are 3 questions we have after Ahsoka Episode 6.

1. What does Ezra know about Thrawn’s plans?

At some point, Ezra made a run for it and now lives in the wilderness on Peridea with little aliens called the Noti. Thrawn is unsure whether Ezra is alive, but he gives Sabine a chance to find him, so he can kill both of them together. But for now, it makes no sense how Ezra has survived all these years without Thrawn finding him and killing him. Does Ezra know Thrawn’s whereabouts and that he plans to return to the galaxy with an army of stormtroopers? Does he know about the Nightsisters and their dark magic, or has he been waiting for someone to come rescue him?

2. Will Shin Hati turn against Baylan Skoll?

Shin seems confused about her Master’s mission as it looks like she was raised a bit like Din Djarin. She lacks knowledge of Jedi history and doesn’t seem to trust Morgan Elsbeth. Even though Baylan Skoll seems confident in his plans, whatever they are, Shin seems impatient and suspicious of everyone around her. Is this really what she signed up for? Her continuous questioning of the orders that she’s given shows the growing confusion in her mind. Will she stick around hoping Baylan gives her the power she seeks or change her mind? If things don’t go according to her hopes, Shin seems like someone who might turn completely to the dark or light side. We won’t be surprised if a person like Shin, who is following orders almost blindly, decides to revolt at some point.

3. Will Sabine and Ezra be able to leave Peridea?

Did anyone else get a bad feeling when Ezra tells Sabine that he can’t wait to go back home? All Ezra Bridger wants is to go home, but wait’ll he finds out how Sabine got here. Sabine has no idea how they’ll return and doesn’t seem to care. Her goal was to find Ezra and reunite with him. She got what she wanted, but there’s no telling what’s going to happen to them next. Ahsoka is on her way, and assuming that she makes it to Peridea, escaping the eerie wasteland won’t be easy for any of them.

In finding Ezra, Sabine put the fate of the entire galaxy on the line, and maybe she’s going to find out what a big mistake it was when going back proves to be impossible. Thrawn doesn’t care who lives or dies as long as he can take his army of stormtroopers (who might be zombies) back, and in the process, we have a sneaking suspicion that lives will be lost. Let’s hope it doesn’t cost our heroes.
