Earlier this week, the Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes devs announced that a new version of Bo-Katan Kryze would soon become available through an Epic Confrontation event — Bo-Katan (Mand’alor).
There is one version of Bo-Katan available to unlock and level up in the game already. But her stunning presence in The Mandalorian this past season has clearly earned her another playable version — and this time it will take a little more effort to get her on your team.
What is an Epic Confrontation event?
Unlike Marquee events, Epic Confrontation events require specific units leveled up to certain statistics in order to unlock characters that are more powerful than your more basic options. General Skywalker, for example, is only unlockable through an Epic Confrontation event.
Typically, the higher Relic Level these characters stand at, the better your chances of making it to the end of the final battle.
What makes these events especially unique is that a specific set of characters needs to be leveled up, but many of these are added to the game through their own Marquee events in the lead-up to the Epic Confrontation’s debut. Paz Viszla, for example, just joined the game last week.
Who will you need to unlock Bo-Katan (Mand’alor)?
Since this event will likely end with a representation of the epic battle in the finale of The Mandalorian Season 3, we may be able to predict some of the characters players will need to level up in order to successfully unlock Bo-Katan (Mand’alor) at a full seven stars. Completing the event will achieve that seven-star ranking for the character.
The post linked above also already revealed that both The Mandalorian (Beskar Armor) and Paz Vizsla will need to be upgraded to Relic 7 (uh, good luck with that, to all of us). Other possible options include Moff Gideon, Bo-Katan (the original), and The Armorer, though these events typically require more characters than usual to get through each stage with different squads for each one.
More information about this upcoming event will likely be revealed in the weeks to come.
