Andor season 2: Who died in week two?

Unless they're in Rogue One, you should just accept there is a target on your favorite character's back.

This article contains spoilers for Andor Season 2, episode 6, "What a Festive Evening."

Andor's first week did not pull punches, killing two Season 1 characters. And let's be honest here: Unless it's Cassian Andor, Mon Mothma, Saw Gerrera, or Director Krennic, who we all know make it to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, then pretty much every single character has a high chance of dying. As the second season continues, we have lost another major player from the story.

Who died in Andor Season 2, episodes 4-6?

Cinta Kaz

Spending a year apart after glancing at her partner at the end of episode 3, "Harvest," Cinta Kaz came back into the story in episode 6, "What a Festive Evening." She reuinted with her girlfriend Vel Sartha, where Cinta shared she regretted putting the mission first over her lover. They shared a kiss and a night together. Anyone who is a fan of tragic romance tropes probably picked up that one of them wouldn't make it to the credits rolling.

As they advise the Ghorman Front, the very inexperienced rebels of Ghorman, one guy named Samm flat-out disobeyed Vel and Cinta's orders. They specifically told the Ghormans not to bring blasters to their heist to steal some Imperial weapons. Samm ignored these outsiders, thinking he knew best.

When a local came by the heist, Samm scuffled with the man, threatening him with the blaster. The local fought back, Samm fired the blaster by mistake, and the stray bolt hit Cinta with a deadly strike. Vel and the Ghormans fled the scene with Cinta's body.

Vel gave a fiery speech to Samm about how Cinta was everything he daydreamed to be. She said he would wear Cinta's death every day for the rest of his life, chastising him for crying as she was the one who lost her romantic partner.

As I said at the top, pretty much everyone who doesn't make it to Rogue One is probably going to die. Going into the back half of the season, I'm worried for Bix Caleen and Wilmon Paak. Again, anyone who knows a doomed romantic trope can see the glaring bullseye on Bix. As for Wilmon, well, he's not with the Partisans when Cassian and Jyn Erso get there in Rogue One now, is he? However, this is just speculation. We'll have to wait and see.

Andor Season 2 is now streaming on Disney+.
