It's always fun to see Star Wars characters appear in media that isn't strictly Star Wars, especially when those characters are playable. Players of Brawlhalla will be pleased to know that the game is adding a few familiar faces from a galaxy far, far away to battle it out for the ultimate victory.

It was announced this week that Brawlhalla will be doing yet another crossover, this time with characters like Han Solo, Chewbacca, and even The Mandalorian (along with his adorable son, of course).

Brawlhalla is a free-to-play platform fighting game -- think Super Smash Bros. with a wider variety of characters. Up to eight simultaneous players can choose their fighters, pick a location, and see which team ends up being the last one standing. It's an all-out brawl, except now, you can add a little Star Wars twist to your matches.

New playable Star Wars characters include The Mandalorian and Grogu (as one character), Kay Vess and Nix (also as one character), Han Solo, and Chewbacca.

This could be an interesting way to coax more players to try out Star Wars Outlaws, since Kay and Nix are among the options to choose from in this new wave of legends. Though new to Star Wars canon, the duo is an unforgettable addition to the ever-growing lineup of scoundrels in the universe. And having these two on your team is surely going to help you win, thanks to Nix's thermal detonators. Never forget the wise words of Yoda: size matters not. Especially when it's Nix.

If you've never given this game a try before, I highly recommend. It's the kind of innocent, fast-paced fun that we all need more of these days. And now that more Star Wars characters are involved, what's stopping you?

These characters and a new map are coming to Brawlhalla on December 4, 2024. The game is free to download and play on desktop, consoles, and both Android and iOS.
