For years, fans have enjoyed seeing actors from the Star Wars franchise in other popular franchises such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe or the Game of Thrones series. However, there's one film you would probably never expect that has a surprising number of links to a galaxy, far, far away.

The film, Christopher Robin (2018), feaures a number of actors who have also appeared in Star Wars projects. The movie, for those unfamiliar, is part of the Winnie the Pooh world, and showcases Christopher Robin as a grown-up with a wife and daughter of his own.

The first obvious connection is Ewan McGregor, who starred as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and his own mini-series. He earned acclaim for his role as Kenobi, and recently fueld speculation that he hopes to return to the role in the near future.

Two other actors appeared on screen the film alongside McGregor who were also on the big screen in Star Wars. Oliver Ford Davies who played Sio Bibble (in the prequels), the Governor of Naboo, plays McGregor's boss in Christopher Robin.

Davies has a favorite interesting cadence to how he speaks with his thick British accent that is displayed in both franchises.

Amanda Lawerence played Commander D'Acy in both the Last Jedi and the Rise of Skywalker, has a comical role in the movie playing one of Mcgregor's employees. She has great ranger. In the sequel trilogy she played Commander D'Acy with much poise and humanity.

One actor, Matt Berry, was seen on screen in Christopher Robin but was a voice talent in the Star Wars franchise. He played a police officer in the film. However, he voiced the droid 8D8 for five episodes on the Book of Boba Fett. The droid served as a mediator for Fett during the series.

The last actor in both franchises is the man of many voices. He has over 400 voice credits to his name. Jim Cummings voiced both Winnie the Pooh and Tigger in the film. He has been the voice of both since the late 1980s.

He voiced the popular pirate, Hondo Ohnaka, in both the Clone Wars and Rebels. The character has grown in popularity, and he has voiced him in many different points of the franchise. In 2013, Cummings received a daytime Emmy nomination for his work on the Clone Wars voicing Hondo. He also received an Emmy nomination in 2009 for his work voicing Winnie the Pooh.

Both franchises are great for families to enjoy together. They can unite generations of fans of both and now can display actors from both in several films and projects.
