Star Wars: Andor Season 2 is coming to Disney+.
Following the titular character’s dynamic first season joining the Rebellion, Season 2 will follow a different format. Each week will have three episodes, basically a mini-movie covering the events over a few days. Then, the next arc will jump forward a year, leading into the hours before Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Andor follows thief Cassian Andor as he and his home of Ferrix fall under Imperial rule. Between the obsessed Syril Karn hunting him and the up-and-coming ISB agent Dedra Meero seeking to quell the growing rebellious feelings on Ferrix, Cassian finds himself on a path to joining the morally grey good guys, led by the mysterious Luthen Rael. Also under Imperial watch is Senator Mon Mothma, trying to keep her family safe while running the Rebellion from behind the scenes with Luthen.
Andor: A Star Wars Story stars Diego Luna, Genevieve O'Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau, and Forest Whitaker. Joining the Season 2 cast are Ben Mendelsohn and Alan Tudyk.
