James Arnold Taylor wants an animated show about how Obi-Wan Kenobi and Satine Kryze met years before The Clone Wars.

James Arnold Taylor voiced Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Clone Wars, and the actor believes there's still one Obi-Wan story left to tell.

Arnold Taylor spoke to ScreenRant, and shared an idea he's "pretty vocal about." He says, "I would really love for them to tell a story in animated form of Duchess Satine and Obi-Wan when they were younger and how they met, because we've talked about it throughout Clone Wars."

The actor said he's expressed his hopes of a series focused on young Satine Kryze and Obi-Wan to Lucasfilm and won't stop until they tell him to. The Clone Wars shed more light on Satine and Obi-Wan's romance during the Mandalore arc. Satine was a well-written and fully fleshed-out character on the show, and Obi-Wan's love for her was a revelation not just for fans but for Kenobi's apprentice, Anakin.

There are even scenes where Anakin teases his Master by referring to Satine as his girlfriend. The Clone Wars makes no secret of their feelings for each other, which run just as deep as when the duo supposedly fell in love. Kenobi and Kryze first met when Obi-Wan was 15 and on a mission to Mandalore with his Master, Qui-Gon Jinn, to protect the Duchess. After spending a little over a year protecting Satine, the duo were passionately in love until they separated.

The Clone Wars reveals why they both chose duty over their love for each other, with Satine being committed to taking Mandalore in a more peaceful direction, and Obi-Wan committed to the Jedi Order, and later on, to his Padawan's training. But years later when they met again, their feelings were obviously strong, and the duo often clashed. However, when she confessed her love for him, Obi-Wan admitted he would've left the Jedi Order for her.

I was a huge fan of Obi-Wan and Satine's romance in The Clone Wars, and it's in my top 3 favorite romances in Star Wars. I hope Lucasfilm gives James Arnold Taylor and Anna Graves an opportunity to explore the ObiTine romance in detail. Taylor revealed that fans at ComicCon love to dress up as the pair, and he wants to give these fans more of what they love. Unfortunately, Satine was never mentioned by her sister, Bo-Katan, in The Mandalorian Season 3, or by Kenobi in Obi-Wan Kenobi.

If there's another season of Kenobi, a few live-action flashbacks depicting Obi-Wan's romantic side would be an absolute treat. This wouldn't be the first instance Ewan McGregor would fall for a girl named Satine, with the other being Moulin Rouge, opposite Nicole Kidman.
