Young Jedi Adventures might be a preschool show, but that doesn't mean it's not bringing the heat when it comes to vocal talent. The series already has some of the best talent from Lucasfilm Animation like Dee Bradley Baker, Noshir Dalal, Shelby Young, and Corey Burton. However, the Emmy Award-winning show also has incredible talent for guest and recurring roles that might surprise you!
Here are 5 actors that you might not have known was in Young Jedi Adventures.
1. Jason Mantzoukas
Jason Mantzoukas has become quite the Disney actor in the last few years. From guesting in DuckTales to playing Mr. D, AKA Dionysus, in Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Mantzoukas is settling into the House of Mouse. After some appearances in Star Trek series, he's crossing the streams into Young Jedi Adventures Season 2, playing a new Hutt character, Bulcha.
2. Haley Joel Osment
It's often hard for child actors to evolve, and Haley Joel Osment has made quite the career for himself. From animated voice acting parts like Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous to live-action roles like Goliath and What We Do In The Shadows, he's become such a joy to watch. Who could also forget his most iconic role as Sora in the Kingdom Hearts franchise? Now, he has an ongoing role as the capitalism-loving Gozzo, Raxlo, in Young Jedi Adventures (my personal favorite character in the series).
3. Liam O'Brien and Sam Riegel
Yes, this is two-for-one, but it's amazing how much these two go together. Sam Riegel and Liam O'Brien are both legendary voice actors. The Critters in the audience best know them for their work on Critical Role and The Legend of Vox Machina as Scanlan and Vax'ildan. However, this isn't their first time in Star Wars. O'Brien has been in multiple series, and the duo were Bolo and Ketch, the lovable goofs in Cid's parlor in The Bad Batch. In Young Jedi Adventures, Riegel plays the characters Corr Taldaan and Rix Tegano, and O'Brien portrays fan favorite High Republic character Jedi Master Estala Maru.
4. Keston John
Keston John has a wide range of talent. He's done a variety of voice work, from She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and The Owl House to live-action roles in Obliterated and Avatar: The Way of Water. This isn't John's first time in Star Wars, either, having been in Tales of the Empire and Star Wars Resistance. He portrays Jedi Master Carver Drow in Young Jedi Adventures.
5. David Tennant
Fun fact: David Tennant is currently the only actor to have won a Daytime Emmy Award in the Star Wars franchise for his role as Huyang in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It's a role the Doctor Who and Good Omens actor reprised for Ahsoka. This wasn't the end of Huyang and Tennant as he returned in Season 2 of Young Jedi Adventures. This marked the earliest we have seen Huyang in the current canon timeline at the time of this writing.
