The Bad Batch Episode 14, "Flash Strike," ends with a couple of very interesting scenes, including the meeting between Echo and Doctor Emerie Karr.

Emerie finds Echo, who's entered Tantiss and disguised himself as a Stormtrooper, in the lab. She recognizes him immediately and is expecting him and all of Omega's brothers. They've come for her like Omega promised they would and Emerie doesn't alert anyone as to Echo's arrival. In some ways, it feels like she's relieved that he's there.

Echo doesn't seem pleased to see her and is probably disappointed that a clone would choose to work for the Empire despite being aware of their atrocities. He tells her that Omega saw something in her and hopes she is right. Emerie is ready to help Echo now and seems particularly worried about the young specimens there, of whom Echo is completely unaware. Emerie agrees to help him access the vault and free the children, but something about her character still feels off.

It's likely to do with the fact that the theme of the series revolves around the clones being a family. Even those who were working for the Empire eventually came around and united with their brothers. Now it's Emerie's turn, but she feels very guilty for her part in whatever is happening on Tantiss. However, it still feels like she's oblivious to the full scale of what's happening there.

I'm not sure what will happen to Doctor Emerie Karr now that the series is coming to its conclusion. Perhaps she'll help the children escape, which will serve as her redemption and absolve her of the guilt of working for the Empire. I think that it won't be that easy, and her loyalty to the clones will be tested one final time. If she chooses them, it'll be at a huge price.

I don't see this ending well for her; she knows too much and waited too long to do anything about it. Regardless of how she decides to act from this point, Emerie will surely regret staying on the wrong side for so long instead of finding a way out as Omega did.
