This may be a controversial opinion, but Star Wars might not be for everyone. In How I Met Your Mother, the protagonist's fiancée fakes liking the movie, and discovering this deception eases the emotional burden when she leaves him for somebody else. There are those who are too devoted to one fandom to make a place in their lives for another.

In Diego Luna's case, your child might just get bored and walk out.

According to an exclusive by Kimberlee Speakman, Jack Smart, and Georgia Slater of People magazine, Jerónimo was not a fan of the galaxy far, far away at first watch:

"I remember the first time I put on Star Wars for my son and clearly it was too early because he left me by myself watching the film... I said, let's start with 'A New Hope.' I think he was too young to watch it, but I really wanted to share the film with my son because it's important... This is the moment every father is waiting for. And he lasted like 20 minutes."

It was clearly a missed opportunity to change a young life, but to be fair, the 5 or 6-year-old didn't know this at the time. These days, he might have let Jerónimo cut his teeth on Young Jedi Adventures or Zen - Grogu and the Dust Bunnies, but understandably, the man who would help steal the Death Star plans in 2016 would introduce his son to the movie where the Death Star was destroyed.

All was not lost, though. Luna reassured the authors that things had changed. "Years later, he watched it again and liked it."
