How to watch Star Wars: The Acolyte episode 7
Star Wars: The Acolyte Season 1, episode 7, is coming off the heels of two harrowing weeks. Between losing half the cast in episode 5, “Night,” and Osha facing the so-called Sith Lord The Stranger, AKA Qimir, in episode 6, “Teach/Corrupt,” this week’s episode is set to be a big one.
As the penultimate episode of The Acolyte's first season, I’m almost positive this will be a flashback episode like episode 3, “Destiny.” The ending of “Teach/Corrupt” seemed to set up this format. Sol is ready to tell Mae the truth about what happened on Brendok 16 years earlier. Meanwhile, Osha puts on Qimir’s cortosis helmet, which deprives her of her sight. Qimir says it’s just her, the Force, and what she brings into it. If I had to make a prediction, Osha will have some kind of Force vision to also show her what happened on Brendok… from a certain point of view. This would allow for both Mae and Osha to learn the truth.
However, this is just a prediction. There's still the side of the story about Vernestra Rwoh and the role she still has to play in all of this. "Teach/Corrupt" focused on her for a good chunk of the narrative, seemingly setting up some kind of reveal for her as well. We’ll have to wait and see what happens when the new episode arrives on Tuesday.
