The Mandalorian & Grogu will reportedly go into production next month. Fans are understandably curious about the show's lead actor, Pedro Pascal, and his whereabouts as filming gets closer. Recently, a comment by Maria Sandoval, The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett's hairdresser, has given fans hope that Pascal might begin filming for the Mando movie soon.

Pascal is pictured days ago with his hairstylist and friend, Mira Chai Hyde, who often shares pictures with the Mando actor. However, a comment left by Instagram user the hairdepartmentetc, who is Maria Sandoval, has made fans speculate that Pascal may have finally found time in his busy schedule to film some scenes for The Mandalorian & Grogu.

Sandoval writes, "I'll see you both soon, I hope!!!" This sent fans into a tizzy, but it may or may not hint that she'll meet Pedro and his hairdresser soon.

The timing of the comment makes it seem like something is cooking, and The Mandalorian & Grogu will feature some scenes of Pascal in the Mando suit, showing off his good looks as Din Djarin. How scenes of Din Djarin sans helmet will be possible after Season 3 is a big question, as its first few episodes focused on Din Djarn's journey to Mandalore to seek redemption for removing his helmet at the end of The Mandalorian Season 2.

That's a question only Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni can answer. However, The Mandalorian & Grogu will be far more marketable if the Game of Thrones and The Last of Us actor's talents are fully utilized, which inevitably means having to remove his helmet at some point. Pedro will begin filming for Marvel's Fantastic Four at the end of July, though The Mandalorian & Grogu will reportedly start filming early enough to allow Pedro to be on set for both.

This is purely speculation for now, but the possibility of Pedro Pascal being heavily involved in The Mandalorian & Grogu is certainly exciting.

The Mandalorian & Grogu will release in theaters on May 22, 2026.
