Star Wars: The Acolyte just got twice as powerful with a brand new ending credit song, "The Power of Two," dropping tomorrow.

The new song comes from 3x Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Victoria Monét, who will perform the new single. It was co-written with Grammy Award-winning producer D'Mile as well as Michael Abels, who is the composer for The Acolyte. "The Power of Two" will be released on all streaming services on June 14, via Business Wire.

Monét shared her excitement about the new single, saying, "Having my song be a part of the classic Star Wars franchise via The Acolyte is such an honor and I’m thrilled for everyone to hear it when they see how it ties into the overall storyline! D’Mile and I had a great time making the song and hope the world loves it as much as we do.”

How cool is this? I am adoring the promotion and care put into The Acolyte. The last time any Star Wars show or film had such unique marketing was for Episode I: The Phantom Menace, where Lucasfilm truly went out of its way to make the movie a spectacle. Having a new single for the series really gives The Acolyte old-school promotion vibes. Sure, I bet the real reason is this gives Disney+ and Lucasfilm a song for the award season cycle, but this is a very impactful way to catch the attention of anyone who might not have been interested in watching.

Monét is also an excellent choice to perform the song. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, she fits right in with The Acolyte's inclusivity and the entirety of the High Republic era. I cannot wait to hear the new song tomorrow!

"The Power of Two" from Victoria Monét drops on all streaming platforms on June 14. You can watch Star Wars: The Acolyte now on Disney+.
