Star Wars Insider #225 preview: Phantom Menace turns 25, Billy Dee Williams, and more!

Another issue of Star Wars Insider is on the way, and issue #225 is packed full of goodness. This issue has a little bit of everything for all fans (no surprise there because Insider is always fantastic!).
Star Wars Insider #225 is hitting newsstands on April 30, just in time for Star Wars Day! Let's take a look at some of the topics you can find in the latest issue.

On May 19, 1999, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace hit theaters. 2024 is the 25th anniversary of the film that changed the franchise forever. Insider #225 will look back at the lead up to the film and reminisce about the fandom at that time. Also, Hal Hickel of Industrial Light & Magic discusses how the visual effects made The Phantom Menace possible.

Billy Dee Williams joins the issue with an interview all about his own style and the suave sophistication of Lando Calrissian. Williams isn't the only interviewee in this issue either. Star Wars Insider sits down with author John Jackson Miller to talk about his latest book, Star Wars: The Living Force (which you can see our official review here).

For the Disney Park enthusiast in the fandom, issue #225 will also feature an excellent history of Star Tours. Hopping into the first rides in 1987 with RX-24 to the latest additions from Ahsoka, The Mandalorian, and Andor, this is a great look at one of the most beloved Star Wars attractions.

Along with a Season 1 companion for Ahsoka and the latest short story for The High Republic Phase III from Lydia Kang, there is something for all fans in this issue.
