Jacen Syndulla should be in Skeleton Crew

What better way to connect this show back to the Mandoverse than through Jacen

While I wasn't surprised to see Jacen Syndulla pop up in the first season of Ahsoka, I was surprised at how much he was in the show. A lot of time with kid characters, they're more like additions for the adults and don't get many moments to shine other than to be "The Kid to The Adult Character." However, Jacen played a big role in the show, using his Force sensitivity to find Ahsoka Tano in the World Between Worlds and help save her life. Evan Whitten was fantastic in the role, too!

It got me thinking about a particular idea. Looking at his age and when they would have filmed Ahsoka and the next Mandoverse show, Skeleton Crew, with its own cast of kid characters, Jacen would be such a perfect addition to the show.

While we don't know how exactly Skeleton Crew will fit into the Mandoverse, we do know the plot will involve a group of kids who accidentally go on an adventure across the galaxy, trying to get back home. With the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn and a rising Imperial Remnant, there's a high chance these baddies could stand in the way of the kids.

If Jacen is part of the group, this connects the show back to the Mandoverse. If her son is missing with the rest of the kids, this will get Hera Syndulla into the mix with the other parents to try and find her son. This would also raise the stakes if the Imperial Remnants discover the son of a high-ranking Resistance general is unprotected in the galaxy. The hunt for the kids would be on.

There's also Jacen's Force sensitivity. We know that Jude Law's character is also a Force user. We don't know if Law is an ex-Jedi, dark side wielder, or just a neutral party. If Law was a Jedi in hiding as someone who survived Order 66, Jacen could be a healing factor. Surely, Jacen heard all the heroic stories about his father, Kanan Jarrus, from his mom and the other members of the Ghost crew like Sabine Wren and Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios. The kid probably has a very pure outlook on the Jedi, something that could bring back the Light in Law's character.

Jacen could be a great addition to Skeleton Crew, a connective thread to other stories in the Manodoverse. While this is just a theory at the moment, I hope it happens.
