One thing that Star Wars: The Acolyte is fairly universally praised for is the fight choreography throughout the show. The cast learned a lot of new combat for their roles, and Manny Jacinto shared his favorite move at Dragon Con 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia. Well, maybe it was not a martial arts move, but it was his favorite fight scene he recorded. The answer is pretty brutal.

Via The Geeky Waffle, Jacinto shared, "This isn't a martial arts move, and I'm so sorry to Charlie Barnett, who played Yord, but I really loved cracking his neck."

The audience had a good laugh at the moment. The episode "Night" was lauded as one of the best episodes of the series, where it was revealed Jacinto's character Qimir was actually a Sith Lord called The Stranger. In a single episode, half the main characters are killed as The Stranger systematically takes them out one by one. It was a shocking moment of Star Wars television that really did push the boundaries of the franchise on TV. Not only was Charlie Barnett's Yord Fandar killed, but so was the young padawan Jecki Lon, played by Dafne Keen.

It wasn't the only buzzworthy moment of the panel at Dragon Con via The Geeky Waffle. Manny Jacinto was also asked his thoughts about fan reactions to The Stranger's reveal and the more sultry fan edits of his character. Jacinto slowly and patiently answered with a little chuckle, "The internet is a very weird place. Hashtag arms."

As the audience laughed, he jokingly added, "I've said this before. I can't take all the credit. I give a lot of credit to baby oil and wet hair. All the credit to them. But it's very flattering. I'm very flattered, and I can't say anything else without embarrassing myself so thank you."

The Acolyte has been canceled; however there is a vibrant fan campaign to get it renewed with the main petition closing in on 70,000 signatures.
