Star Wars: Outlaws story trailer coming tomorrow!
Calling all fans of Star Wars video games! In case you missed it last week, there's a big trailer coming tomorrow! Ubisoft announced on its social media pages that the story trailer for the open world game Star Wars: Outlaws arrives tomorrow, Tuesday, April 9! It will debut on its YouTube channel at 9 AM PST/12 PM EST. The game will be released sometime in 2024 for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.
Star Wars: Outlaws is one of the most highly anticipated projects this year. It's the first ever open world video game for the Star Wars universe. According to StarWars.com, the game is "set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Explore distinct planets across the galaxy, both iconic and new. Risk it all as Kay Vess, an emerging scoundrel seeking freedom and the means to start a new life, along with her companion Nix. Fight, steal, and outwit your way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates as you join the galaxy’s most wanted."
Kay Vess is voiced by Humberly González, while a familiar face voices Nix. When he's not voicing every clone in Lucasfilm Animation, Dee Bradley Baker is a renowned creature voice actor. Nix is another addition to his critter resume. One of Kay's associates in the game is the BX-series droid commando, ND-5, who is a veteran of the Clone Wars and turned into an enforcer droid for the Empire (thanks, Wookieepedia!). ND-5 will be voiced by Jay Rincon to round out the main characters.
Tune in to Ubisoft's YouTube channel on Tuesday, April 9, at 9 AM PST/12 PM for the premiere of the Star Wars: Outlaws story trailer.
