There are only 2 episodes left of The Bad Batch. The latest episode "Into the Breach" was a stressful but fun entry that helped set up the finale of the show. However, it did leave us wondering some things after the credits rolled.

Here are 3 questions we had after The Bad Batch Season 3 episode, "Into the Breach."

1. What will Rampart do?

The creators dropped a huge surprise on us as the episode wrapped up. Ex-Vice Admiral Rampart are still with Clone Force 99 and heading to Mount Tantiss with them. This is a major development, because Rampart is a massive wild card. Could he help the Batch to save his own skin? Will he betray them? We speculated on these points in a few prior articles already, but needless to say, Rampart is a major question mark for the next few episodes.

2. Is Scalder going to be a problem?

Doctor Scalder was missing for all of Season 3 only to pop up again during "Into the Breach." Immediately she started making waves. First, she questions Doctor Emerie Karr, who might be Omega's biggest secret ally inside of Mount Tantis. Scalder then seeks out Omega, (correctly) thinking that the young clone is up to something. While Scalder hasn't found any definitive proof that Emerie and Omega are working against, it's very clear she knows something is up. The creators wouldn't have brought her back so late in the game if she didn't still have a role to play.

3. Will one of our heroes die?

The Season 2 finale saw the end of one of our heroes when Tech sacrificed himself in "Plan 99." Will this happen again in Season 3? "Into the Breach" ended with Clone Force 99 split up. Echo is by himself on a ship, hitching a ride to Mount Tantiss. Omega and Emerie are alone, surrounded by the enemy. Crosshair has had an excellent redemption arc so it would be a horrific shame to fall back on worn out and tired tropes if he died. Wrecker never really had a character arc, so he might be a likely candidate. And then Hunter is the leader and possibly might sacrifice himself to save his team.

Frankly, it would be great if no one died, but this wouldn't be Star Wars without some tragedy mixed in with it. We'll have to see how it all goes down as The Bad Batch ends.
