Star Wars: The Bad Batch has added another Game of Thrones star to its impressive voice cast. Between the various animated and live-action projects, Star Wars has featured many Game of Thrones actors over the years.

Years before playing Din Djarin in The Mandalorian, Pedro Pascal endeared audiences around the world with his portrayal of Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones Season 4. Emilia Clarke soared to international fame as Daenerys Targaryen before playing Qi'ra in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Gwendoline Christie was known for playing Brienne of Tarth before her performances as Captain Phasma in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, and voicing the character in Star Wars Resistance. In the case of Julian Glover, he appeared in The Empire Strikes Back as Maximilian Veers and as Walter Donovan in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade decades before taking on the role of Grand Maester Pycelle.

In Star Wars animation, Tobias Menzies (Edmure Tully in Game of Thrones) voiced the villainous Tiber Saxon in the Star Wars Rebels Season 4 premiere. More recently, Keisha Castle-Hughes (Obara Sand in Game of Thrones) voices Emerie Karr in The Bad Batch. She also appeared previously as Queen Apailana of Naboo in Revenge of the Sith.

The Bad Batch Season 3, episode 4, "A Different Approach," has now added another Game of Thrones veteran through Harry Lloyd as the corrupt Imperial Captain Mann, who causes problems for Omega, Crosshair, and Batcher in this episode. Lloyd played Daenerys' vile brother, Viserys Targaryen, in Game of Thrones Season 1, who by the end of the series still had one of the most memorable deaths. Lloyd has also narrated supplementary Game of Thrones content.

Outside of Game of Thrones, Lloyd has a diverse body of work, including the BBC's Robin Hood television series, two episodes of Doctor Who, the film The Theory of Everything, and voicing Viktor in Netflix's Arcane.

Lloyd's The Bad Batch character, Captain Mann, joins the ranks of Vice Admiral Rampart and Lieutenant Nolan of arrogant and overconfident Imperials who mistakenly overestimate their own cleverness while severely underestimating the clones.

Given Captain Mann's deeply satisfying fate at the end of "A Different Approach," it is highly unlikely that he will be seen again in The Bad Batch. Nevertheless, he made for an effective villain in this episode, largely thanks to Lloyd's strong voice work.
