It's another week in Star Wars comics, and it's time to wrap up the month of June! We will be a bit in the dark side and a bit in the light with these two titles. There's something for everyone with a more mature title and one for all ages.

Let's get into This Week in Star Wars Comics.

Darth Maul – Black, White & Red #3

Before the events of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, Darth Maul was incredibly loyal to his master, Palpatine. However, the latest issue of Darth Maul - Black, White & Red #3 has Maul questioning things. Sent on a mission to a remote moon, Maul has an encounter that makes him question everything about the Sith.

The fun thing about the Black, White & Red series is each issue has a different author and artist. For the third issue, the writer is Erica Schultz and the illustrator is Leonard Kirk with the cover artist being Sara Pichelli.

The High Republic Adventures – Saber for Hire 3

So the good news is that ex-Jedi turned saber for hire Ty Yorrick has succeeded in one mission of rescuing Force sensitive children from the clutches of the Nihil. However, she can't make a quick escape. That's the bad news because her aggrieved apprentice, Drewen, has taken her ship for his own personal mission. He's going to save Kitrep Soh, the Chancellor's son! Ty needs to find a way off the planet with the children she's rescued one way or another.

The High Republic Adventures - Saber for Hire #3 is an all ages comic from Dark Horse Comics. The writer is Cavan Scott with Rachael Scott as the illustrator and cover artist.

That's it for the month of June! July has two new titles starting with Star Wars: Inquisitors as well as the adaptation of the Ahsoka TV series. Check back each week for the latest edition of This Week in Star Wars Comics.
