This week in Star Wars Comics: The High Republic takes a bow for now

The current run of The High Republic is ending for the next run to kick off next year.

It's the first week of August for Star Wars Comics, and it's time to bring a few series to a close. The final issue of The High Republic ends this week. Don't fret, Keeve Trennis fans! It was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con the next run will kick off in early 2025.

The High Republic #10

Coming off the heart wrenching last issue where a friend was lost, this final issue brings to close this phase of storytelling. Jedi Master Keeve Trennis also has to face her own master choosing to leave with the villainous Baron Boolan, who has been stealing Force sensitive children. Will she be able to save her friends and stop the bad guy? the High Republic #10 is written by Cavan Scott and illustrated by Jim Towe with the cover artist Phil Noto.

Inquisitors #2

How do you kill an idea? How do you defeat a legend? Well, the Fifth Brother will have to figure it out. When Darth Vader sends his minion to hunt down the illusive Jedi Tensu Run who is spreading his message of the Jedi across the galaxy, the Inquisitors must step in. Who is this mysterious Jedi and why is Vader so threatened by this person? Inquisitors #2 is written by Rodney Barnes, illustrated by Ramon Rosanas, and the cover artist is Nick Bradshaw.

The High Republic Adventures #8

Lula and Zeen might both be planning to secretly ask the other to marry them. But the two young women still have a war to fight with their Jedi friends. A resistance movement rises on the planet of Eriadu, and it's our heroes verses the Nihil in a shocking battle. the High Republic Adventures #8 is written by Daniel José Older and the illustrator and cover artist is Harvey Tolibao.
