2024 is already set to be an exciting new year of Star Wars. We already have confirmation of four shows on the way: The final season of The Bad Batch, The Acolyte, Skeleton Crew, and Tales of the Jedi Season 2. The High Republic will continue its run in the world of books and comics alongside the main runs of Star Wars, Darth Vader, and more. There are also plenty of new novels on the way that were announced at New York Comic Con. Along with all of this, three major anniversaries will be celebrated in 2024:

Episode I: The Phantom Menace turns 25, Star Wars Rebels turns 10, and Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure hits the big 40.

The Phantom Menace is the biggest of these. Multiple projects have already been announced for it. John Jackson Miller's Star Wars: The Living Force, a series of Mace Windu comics, and a novel, The Glass Abyss, are on the way. These are either set in the lead-up to the film or dealing with the movie's aftermath. As we get closer to the May 19 birthday, there will probably be more surprises. The Acolyte is also set 100 years before the events of the film. While we don't know how many seasons it will run for or how much time it will cover, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw some familiar faces like Yoda pop up in this transition from the High Republic era into the Fall of the Jedi era, which The Phantom Menace is part of.

Star Wars Rebels' 10th anniversary is in October. While there has only been one anniversary announcement so far, there will surely be more after we pass The Phantom Menace's birthday bash. From January to April, Marvel Comics is releasing special variant covers to celebrate Rebels. They're stunning, and fans of the series won't want to miss them.

Caravan of Courage's 40th birthday is in November, and as of right now, there are no announcements. Granted, it's almost a year away, so there is plenty of time for the news. The TV movie is the most niche out of these Star Wars projects, but it's still a fun little part of the franchise's history. Ewoks: The Battle for Endor's 40th will be the following year, so whatever they do for the first might tell how they celebrate the sequel.

2024 is set to be a fun year. With more announcements on the horizon, keep checking back with Dork Side of the Force for the latest coverage.
