Calling all Disney Park lovers! Season of the Force is back with a huge reveal of new activities, merchandise, and more coming soon! If you're near Disneyland in California (sorry, Florida), you can join in on the festivities from March 28 to May 11, 2025!

Season of the Force returns to Disneyland in March

Disney Parks Blog shared all the details for the upcoming event, so let's take a look at some of what you can expect.

Two new nighttime shows are coming for guests. The first is Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga, which debuts on March 28. This will be a projection show on the spires of Batuu, highlighting the story of the Skywalker Saga. The second is a new fireworks show called the Fire of the Rising Moons. Mixing in a selection from John Williams' iconic score, parkgoers can add to the experience with their MagicBand+ with "lights and ambient vibrations."

Taking place in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif., on select nights, “Fire of the Rising Moons” is a nighttime experience that showcases a different view of the stunning Disneyland park fireworks display, with musical accompaniment. A new mysterious figure will be seen roaming Galaxy's Edge. Escorted with his faithful R2-D2 unit, this cloaked person arrives at Batuu for a limited time. Luke Skywalker will join the roster for fans to see and interact with. It's always exciting when a new character arrives at the park, especially because that means we're time traveling!

Hyperspace Mountain returns and will run through May. It's always a fun time to hop on this ride to fend off X-Wings and the Imperial fleet. While (as of right now) there aren't new additions for Star Tours for the event, you can still have a chance to see characters from Ahsoka, Andor, and The Mandalorian, which were added last year.

There are always new items each year with Season of the Force. I think the one that has me the most excited is for the first time ever, you can create your own headbands! These will be Star Wars plushes that can be attached to your headwear. If you want them to look like iconic Mouse Ears, you can do that! The characters for this are Yoda, a stormtrooper, Darth Vader, an Ewok, and R2-D2.

The headbands aren't the only addition as new items like shirts, a Boba Fett jersey, and a duo collection of adult tees will arrive in Galaxy's Edge. You can see the full list of items over at Disney Parks Blog.

Season of the Force always means one thing: TASTY NEW FOOD! 2025 is no different as several new additions will be debuted this year. The non-alcoholic Pi-Co Punch will be in Tomorrowland at the Galactic Grill. You can pick up this pineapple juice, coconut milk, and lime juice beverage after you hop off Hyperspace Mountain. There is also the Wookiee Cookiee, the green milk-based Toydaria Swirl, and the delicious looking Fried Chicken Boas. Check out Disney Parks Blog to peek at the full list of food.

For the first time ever, Savi's Workshop -- Handbuilt Lightsabers will have a new storyline: "Reclaimed and Reforged!" Starting on Star Wars Day, May the Fourth, guests will have new pieces to choose from to build their lightsaber from parts that have been scavenged from all over the galaxy and brought to Batuu. However, it's important to note that a purchase is required to participate, and making advanced reservations is highly recommended.

And no Season of the Force is complete without Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite. This after hours party has tickets available now, but they go fast! These are available on select nights from April 8 through May 6.

Season of the Force looks like it's so much fun. As someone who lives nowhere close to California, fingers crossed they will bring this to other parks. California shouldn't get to have all the fun.
