This article contains full spoilers for Star Wars: Skeleton Crew episode two, "Way, Way Out Past The Barrier."

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew episode one, "This Could Be A Real Adventure," brought together two sets of best friends, Wim and Neel, who clashed with friends Fern and KB. Still, the kids worked together to unearth something in their perfect suburban home. It turns out it was a buried spaceship. Thanks to Wim's actions, the ship takes off into space with the kids on it. Find out what happens next!

Let's recap Star Wars: Skeleton Crew episode 2, "Way, Way Out Past The Barrier!"

We open on the ship coming out of hyperspace. Everyone is either panicking or mad at Wim, who hit the big green button that shot them into hyperspace beforehand. Suddenly, they hear a snarl down the hallway...

Something is on the ship with them.

Clanking down the long hallway is the droid they found in the last episode. It calls them intruders as he looks for his captain. Fern says his captain is dead, which makes the droid, who is named SM-33, falter. She makes up a lie that she killed the captain, making her the new one. SM-33 accepts this logic.

He runs the kids far too quickly on how to fly the ship, with only KB understanding it all. Wim finds another big button, but SM-33 stops him from pushing it as it would explode the hull. This will probably be important later.

Fern commands SM-33 to take them back to their planet of At Attin. However, there's a problem: the droid has never heard of their planets, and the rat that lives inside his head has eaten parts of his memory banks, so he doesn't know his last location.

Again, the blame is fully placed on Wim. Upset, he storms out of the cockpit. Fern commands SM-33 to take them to a starport for repairs and directions. With that, they hop into hyperspace.

Back on At Attin, the security droids search the woods, looking for the source of seismic activity, not knowing it was the starship taking off. They find Wendle, Wim's father, who had watched the kids fly off. The security droids state it's impossible, as no starships are permitted to enter or leave the planet. The droids take Wendle to "speak to their supervisor."

Back on the ship, which is called the Onyx Cinder, Wim has been exploring the rest of the ship. He's having the best time in the captain's quarters and not at all worried about the skeletons lying about! Neel doesn't share in the excitement, just wanting to go home.

They arrive at Port Borgo, where they are greeted by a Teek ferryman. SM-33 is going to start repairs as the kids head into the port.

The kids are in wonder of the starport, noting the aliens (which Neel, the elephant person of the group, says the aliens look weird). Wim hides his money after paying the Teek, who is incredibly excited to get Wim's credits. The kids move out to look for "one normal place to ask for directions," as Fern phrases it.

The port is swarming with pirate types and other "adult" entertainment like spice and a lot of drinking. The kids accidentally get separated from each other, but Fern and KB find each other quickly. Suddenly, one of the women who worked in the brothels pulls them aside, surprised to see actual children there. And she doesn't believe them when they say they are from At Attin.

The boys find a food stand, getting each a bowl of the daily full-of-bug-guts special. The owner asks for payment and is surprised that Wim pays him with an Old Republic credit that happens to be in mint condition. Reminder from episode one, Wim's dad Wendle gave him these credits for lunch money.

All the pirates in the food place are suddenly very interested in Neel, Wim, and their money. This includes Vane, the pirate from Season 3 of The Mandalorian, who would LOVE to know where the boys (and their money) are from. Neel says At Attin, and all the pirates laugh at the thought.

When the pirates want to take the rest of their money, Wim flips his food on the cooktop burner and causes a fire. The boys flee!

The woman helping the girls reveals why no one believes them: At Attin is apparently a lost planet full of eternal treasure. The boys hurry to the girls, where Fern fires off a blaster to stop the pirate chase. However, Vane easily disarms Fern, holding her at blaster point.

This angers SM-33, who has arrived on the scene. One by one, SM-33 takes out the pirates hunting the children in a street brawl, holding his own. They hurry back to the ferryman, where Fern reveals to their droid that the kids are not pirates.

Then, SM-33 gets taken down by Brutus, the Shistavanen, AKA Wolf Man pirate captain of Vane's crew, who runs this starport. Neel saves the little space mouse that lives inside the droid. Another crew member, Gunter, takes the kids into custody.

The kids are thrown into the brig. Fern wants to figure out a step-by-step plan to get them home. Neel tries to get the space mouse to get the key to let them out. The mouse seems to understand... until it runs off.

The kids run through the sequence of events, including the fact that, apparently, their planet is full of eternal treasure. They squabble, but a voice in the back of the cell silences them. A man in chains offers to help them as long as the kids take him with them.

Using the Force, the man pulls the key to him and tells the kids to keep his secret. It's Jod Na Nawood, and he's there to help.

This is where Skeleton Crew episode 2, "Way, Way Out Past The Barrier" ends.
