This article contains spoilers for Andor Season 2, episode 2, "Sagrona Teema."
Following right after the events of Andor Season 2, episode 1, "One Year Later," the next episode, "Sagrona Teema," moves all the players into place for the first week's finale. Let's recap everything you missed in episode 2.
Cassian Andor hates these new kids

Cassian Andor's no good, very bad day continues. He's been captured by Maya Pei's rebel group, who don't believe he's on their side because he's wearing an Imperial test pilot uniform. And he spent all last episode watching the group fight, break up under their two leaders, Gerdis and Bardi, and taken hostage by the former.
Which is basically where Cassian spends the rest of the episode. Pei's team was stranded on what's revealed later in the episode to be Yavin IV. They're starving and battling each other instead of trying to help their friends. The only way off is the TIE Advance that Cassian stole, and he's the only one who knows how to fly it. Cassian passes the time, giving them advice like gathering rainwater for hydration and setting up a perimeter, as these young kids clearly do not know what they're doing.
The two groups decide to put their differences aside and choose a leader: By playing a Star Wars version of Rock, Paper, Scissors-- no I am not kidding you. This is what happens. Out of nowhere, a massive creature like an alien rhino charges out of the trees, eating Gerdis and Bardi in one gulp. Cassian seizes the moment of chaos to run for the TIE and pilot it off the planet to safety.
Our Ferrix friends are not safe

The Empire had come to the planet of Mina-Rau, the place where Bix Caleen, Brasso, Wilmon Paak, B2EMO, and Cassian have hid out for the last year. They're illegal migrants on fake visas who were welcomed by the agricultural community to help with the harvest. The Empire is doing a census audit, but they're rounding up illegals and deporting them to Imperial prisons without due process during their search.
As the group scrambles to try and find safe passage away from their area, an Imperial Officer named Krole happens upon Bix. He makes very clear sexual advances towards her, but she's able to ward him off, stating she's married. Krole doesn't look like he accepts the answer. However, Brasso shows up, which makes Krole leave. Despite help from Brasso's girlfriend, Talia, and their local friend Keller, who are both legally there, the Ferrix gang continues to search for a way to evade the Imperials. They also keep trying to contact Cassian, not knowing he was captured by Pei's group this whole time.
Dedra and Syril: The couple we love to hate

We catch up with Syril Karn for the first time this season, who is doing well at his job at the Imperial Bureau of Standards. He's giving a new hire the exact same talk he got when he started there in Season 1, showing he's now in a management position. Boasting about all the justice he loves and the corruption he has stopped, Syril tells the recruit there is a future there for anyone willing to work hard.
Elsewhere, Dedra Meero and her boss Major Partagaz arrive back at the ISB on Coruscant. After their meeting with Director Krennic in episode one, Dedra flat-out says she doesn't want the Ghorman job. She would rather still look for Axis AKA Luthen Rael. Partagaz won't hear no for an answer, especially since she hasn't had any results in a year. He will fake a demotion for her so she can take on the new position from Krennic.
Later, she and Syril meet at her apartment as the two are now dating. They prepare dinner for an unknown guest and ready themselves for the event that will be in episode 3.
When friends aren't that friendly anymore

The rest of Andor's main cast are currently hanging out at Mon Mothma's estate for the wedding of her daughter Leida. Mon's rebel cousin and closeted lesbian, Vel Sartha, is sad watching everyone mingle as she misses her own partner, Cinta Kaz. Luthen Rael and his assistant, Kleya, continue their ruse as antique dealers while they gather information from local partygoers, many of whom are Imperials.
However, both are getting nervous. Cassian hasn't checked in about the stolen TIE Advance, but they can't send him a message as long as they're at the wedding. Kleya decides to head back to Coruscant so she can use their encrypted radios to search for Cassian.
During all the partygoing pomp and circumstance of the wedding, both Mon and Luthen begin to notice how much of a liability her friend Tay Kolma is. Despite helping her get out of financial trouble by hiding her spending for the Rebellion, he's fallen on hard times. He's getting desperate, drunk, and really starting to pressure Mon that he's going to be a problem if she doesn't help him soon. She promises to talk to him after the wedding.
Andor Season 2 is now streaming on Disney+.
