The revolution is here and so is the Andor Season 2 trailer!

As the critical acclaim of Season 1 peppers around the screen as Steve Earle's anti-Iraq war ballad "The Revolution Starts Now" croons in the background, we return to our Ferrix favorites throughout the trailer.

"We're in a war," says Cassian in the opening moments. "You want to fight or you want to win?" Quick shots of Cassian flying in a vessel and shooting Imperial targets on the ground sets up the highly political trailer. This season has been something Tony Gilroy has spouted as being the most important thing he's ever worked on. And yes, it is highly political.

All Star Wars is political. George Lucas and newer writer George Nolfi have said it. If you don't believe that, then you have never been paying attention.

The teaser trailer peeks in on several of the fan favorites from Season 1. Bix Calleen, Luthen Rael, Dedra Meero, and Syril Karn all get moments. Alan Tudyk's K-2SO gets his first real look since Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. I'm here for Mon Mothma's joyous dancing sequence after the slugfest she went through in Season 1 (hopefully, she's celebrating leaving her godawful husband, Perrin).

However, the return of Ben Mendelsohn as Director Orson Krennic steals the very few scenes he is in. He brings such a powerhouse performance with a single line and a single smile and is just so delightfully despicable. I am just beside myself we'll get more of him in this show.

Tony Gilroy shared with StarWars.com, "One of the great thrills of making Andor is the scale of the story and the number of characters we’re able to meet — ordinary people, Imperial overlords, passionate revolutionaries. They are real people making epic decisions, all of them staring down questions with terrifying consequences. Cassian’s journey is the soul and spine of our story, but it’s the choir that makes the show. I’m so excited for audiences to see where we go in Season 2.”

It was also confirmed that the show will run for 4 weeks, with 3 episodes a week. Personally, I hate that. This show is so freaking dense and you need an entire week just to break down an episode. We're essentially getting a movie a week. I think I also just want to savor the show. I want to really enjoy it, and let it take its course. I don't want it to be over so soon.

Andor Season 2 is right around the corner. It premieres on April 22 on Disney+. Check out the Season 2 teaser trailer below.
