It's the season of sizzle reels, as Disney has been releasing sneak peeks at their work for next year. Through the YouTube channel Heavy Spoilers, the latest sizzle reel is exciting for Star Wars fans. While we see clips of various shows, especially on the Hulu side of things, one major moment was the first look at Andor Season 2.

In 11 seconds of awesome, this little bit shows what looks to be the Ghorman Massacre, a major tipping point for the Rebellion, and what made Mon Mothma defect from the Empire altogether. She declared this was her reason for leaving in Star Wars Rebels, and Andor is the perfect place to see how and why it occurred. We also get peeks at familiar characters like Luthen Rael, played by Stellan Skarsgård, telling Cassian Andor that he needs to be a leader. At the end of the sizzle reel, there is a final shot of K-2SO, or at least a droid similar to him. We'll have to wait and see if it's THE K-2SO.

There is also a great shot of Cassian walking through Yavin 4 base. I'm the most excited to see this, as this will be the location for the most cameos. While cameos have never been Andor's thing, it's unavoidable in Season 2 as it leads up to the doorstep of Rogue One. We know it also runs concurrent with Star Wars Rebels, meaning that we might see live-action crossover with Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, and the rest of the Ghost crew as they were stationed on Yavin 4. While I don't think they will play major roles in Season 2, seeing them in the background would be neat. Hera's name was said over the intercom of Rogue One, so Tony Gilroy has done these things before. Personally, my biggest wish, even though I do not think it will happen, is to see Alexsandr Kallus from Rebels. He and Cassian are both Fulcrum agents, so watching the two of them crossover and work together would be amazing!

There was also a new look at Skeleton Crew, but nothing that gave away any plot points that we didn't already know. There is a great look at Marti Matulis reprising his role as Vane, who he played in the Mandalorian Season 3. There are a few awesome new shots of Brutus, the Shistavanen pirate captain. I am here to see a wolfman in action!

See the sizzle reel below! Andor Season 2 premieres April 22, 2025 and Skeleton Crew arrives December 3, 2024 on Disney+.
