Andor Season 2 is right around the corner. As you go through your Season 1 rewatch, don't forget some of the other Star Wars series that either set up the events of Andor or happen concurrently with the show. These are important moments for two of the main characters, Mon Mothma and Saw Gerrera. They will more than likely help your appreciation of Andor.
Here are the must watch episodes of Star Wars Rebels, The Clone Wars, and The Bad Batch to get ready for Andor Season 2.
1. "Secret Cargo" Star Wars Rebels Season 3, episode 18
Out of all the episodes on this list, "Secret Cargo" is probably the most important one. We are more than likely going to see the Ghorman Massacre in Andor Season 2 if all the trailers are to be believed. This Star Wars Rebels episode was the aftermath of the massacre with Mon Mothma defecting from the Imperial Senate. We even see a little bit of her speech, which hopefully we'll get the entire thing in Andor. This episode is historic as it's the official founding of the Rebel Alliance.
2. "In the Name of the Rebellion Parts I and II" Star Wars Rebels Season 4, episodes 3 and 4

The Rebels Season 4 two-parter "In the Name of the Rebellion" show some of the younger members of the Ghost crew that this war thing isn't black and white. The Rebel Alliance leadership has different ways of fighting and they often time clash. The big scene is Saw Gerrera and Mon Mothma having a very public dispute in front of the people on Yavin base. It's a great look at this fight wasn't easy and in-fighting threatened our heroes constantly. Mon Mothma becomes a bit of a staple in the back half of Rebels, but these first two entries are her big ones.
3. "Ghost of Geonosis Part I and II" Star Wars Rebels Season 3, episodes 12 and 13

Moving into the not as important episodes, "Ghosts of Geonosis" in Rebels Season 3 is Saw's introduction to the show. It delves into the lengths he will go to stop the Empire, even if it means completing a genocide that his enemy started. Saw is an incredibly complicated character who will be your best friend or your worst enemy, and this is a great showcase of the anti-hero.
4. The Onderon Arc, The Clone Wars Season 5, episodes 2-5

If you've never seen The Onderon Arc from The Clone Wars, they're some of the best in the show. It's also Saw's first appearance in the franchise. We're introduced to his sister Steela, his moral compass, and their leadership in trying to free their planet from Separatist rule. These are the episodes that begin to radicalize him into the person he becomes in Andor.
5. "Aftermath" The Bad Batch Season 1, episode 1

Cassian Andor told Jyn Erso in Rogue One that he had been in this fight from the beginning. We see in the first episode of The Bad Batch so has Saw Gerrera. He's only in one scene and would return again in Season 2, but this appearance shows that Saw was one of the very first fighters against the Empire. His rebellion to free Onderon from oppressors never stopped. It's one of the first instances of people pushing back against the Empire and their rule.
