The Penguin-Random House listing for Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View, an anthology of 40 Star Wars short stories, now describes some of the stories in the anthology.
On Saturday, the official Penguin-Random House website published a description of some of the stories in the upcoming Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View anthology. Since then, Penguin-Random House removed the description. But an intrepid Star Wars fan captured a screenshot of the page and tweeted it out, meaning we can also share it with our readers here.

Here are some of the stories From a Certain Point of View will feature and their authors:
- A tale that bridges the gap between Rogue One and A New Hope through the eyes of Captain Antilles, by Rogue One screenwriter Gary Whitta.
- A story from Aunt Beru’s perspective, by Meg Cabot (The Princess Diaries).
- A vignette highlighting the thoughts of the dianoga, the creature who lives in the Death Star trash compactor, by Nnedi Okorafor (The Binti trilogy).
- A story from Grand Moff Tarkin’s perspective, by Star Wars guru and Lucasfilm Story Group member Pablo Hidalgo.
- A tale of the rebels on Yavin, by Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher in Star Trek: The Next Generation).

Those are just five of the stories. The anthology will contain a total of 40 Star Wars short stories by 40 different authors in celebration of the science fiction franchise’s 40th anniversary. Each story tells a scene from A New Hope from a minor character’s perspective. Other authors include
Authors besides the ones listed above include Star Wars alums like Paul S. Kemp (Lords of the Sith), John Jackson Miller (Kenobi, A New Dawn) and Chuck Wendig (the Aftermath trilogy).
