Today, during The Star Wars Show, director Gareth Edwards announced that an all-new trailer for Rogue One would drop tomorrow morning, as well as unveiling the official Rogue One: A Star Wars Story theatrical poster. Here’s the video (skip ahead to 1:24 to get to the Rogue One news).
The official Rogue One: A Star Wars Story theatrical poster has a lot going for it, so let’s break it down:

As you can see, the poster features the Death Star as a backdrop with Darth Vader’s menacing visage, looming ominously within.

Of course, Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), as the heroine of the film, gets featured rather prominently — her face being blended in with the Death Star.

Jyn’s friends and other Rebels get their own spotlight, as well.
- K-2SO (Alan Tudyk in a mocap role)
 - Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker
 - Chirrut Îmwe (Donnie Yen)
 - Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna)
 - Baze Malbus (Jiang Wen)
 - Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed)

Also of note, Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) can be seen, an odd placement on the poster, next to the heroes of the film.

Below the main characters of Rogue One, we get some starships:
- TIE strikers
 - TIE fighters
 - Imperial Star Destroyers
 - U-wings
 - X-wings

And as you can see, the bottom of the poster tells a story all its own, with Stormtroopers marching through the water on Scarif. At-ACT Walkers (All Terrain Armored Cargo Transport) provide support to the Imperial forces battling the Rebels.
