Thanks to some newly released Tops Trading Cards, we have some all-new Rogue One images…

Entertainment Weekly has just revealed some all-new Rogue One images which were officially released by Tops Trading Cards. The cards feature various stills and scenes from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and provide a closer look at some of the characters we will meet when the film opens worldwide, on December 16.

As EW points out, these cards will arrive courtesy of the Topps Star Wars: Card Trader mobile app, and are indicative of the type of cards that are guaranteed in each new pack. The first set of cards we’ll be viewing, are various X-Wing pilots.

Here’s General Merrick played by actor Ben Daniels (Fox’s Exorcist). You may remember General Merrick from the Rogue One Star Wars Celebration Reel, as the pilot who was laughing with glee, as he climbed into the cockpit of his X-Wing.

Next, we have an unnamed female X-Wing pilot. EW notes that many Star Wars fans are hoping this female X-Wing pilot is none other that  Evaan Verlaine, a personal friend, and ally of Princess Leia, who also hails from the soon to be doomed planet, Alderaan.

Our next card shows a trio of unnamed X-Wing pilots and comes courtesy of Making Star Wars

Here we have a squadron of X-Wing pilots heading for their ships.

Here’s a Rebel soldier in the tropical location of Scarif. This really nails the Vietnam War look that Gareth Edwards seems to be going for.

Next we have a look at a big white and shaggy alien named, Moroff.

Speaking of aliens, here’s the Two Tube twins.

Continuing the alien theme, we have two white-skinned Mon Calamari. You’ll notice they do not share the red color of the most famous member of their species, Admiral Ackbar.

In this card, we have some odd…folks. Titled “Life on Jedha” one can assume these three are natives of the planet.

Finally, we have a look at pilgrims on the once sacred planet.

I wonder where the pilgrims are headed? Usually, pilgrims are trying to get to one central place, and if the planet of Jedha was once a holy and sacred place to the Jedi, then perhaps there in one spot where all the pilgrims are congregating.
