We are a mere 29 days away from the worldwide theatrical premiere of the very first Star Wars standalone film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Today, we’ve already had a gift in the way of two all-new international Rogue One TV spots, and now, thanks to the official Star Wars UK YouTube page, as have a rather interesting Rogue One featurette. Check it out:
I love that Gareth Edwards shows the opening crawl of A New Hope and how it directly correlates to the story of Rogue One. There’s also a few great shots of U-Wings taking down the Imperial AT-ACT’s in here, and that’s pretty darn awesome as well.
From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction.
