Felicity Jones Debuts New Rogue One Clip on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

The cast of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story are starting to make the late rounds of the night talk show circuit, and on Wednesday night, Felicity Jones (Jyn Erso) debuted a new Rogue One clip on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon…

Jimmy Fallon hosts one of the better late night talk shows, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and on Wednesday night, the star of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Felicity Jones (Jyn Erso) joined Fallon to talk about the film, obviously.

Jones also showed Fallon a fight sequence she learned from her Kung Fu training for Rogue, and then showed what that looked like in an all-new clip from the film. Check it out:

As you can see, the hilarious bits from the training were great. I always love when Fallon gets involved with his guests. He really is a true nerd at heart, and that’s why I watch his show. Well, that, and he really is quite funny. Here’s the Rogue One clip:

This is quite awesome because, although we’ve seen bits and pieces of this particular scene before, we’ve not seen it all put together in one piece, yet. Let’s break them down using the magic of GIF’s shall we?

More from Dork Side of the Force

First, we have Jyn and Cassian escaping the Stormtroopers through the streets of Jedha:

Then, the two start to fight back.

And this is where we get the priceless look on Cassian’s face of complete shock at Jyn’s ass kicking skills.

Finally, Jyn shoots the fake Kaytoo. Good thing he was bringing up the rear.

All in all, these were some great scenes and I’m glad Lucasfilm allowed Felicity Jones to debut an all-new Rogue One clip on Jimmy Fallon. If you’re starting to get worried that we are getting too many scenes, don’t. This is exactly what happened with The Force Awakens, and all this is, is pieced together scenes of clips we’ve already seen before.

We want to hear from you: What did you think of this all-new Rogue One clip? Does Jyn Erso look like the badass we’ve all been hearing about? Are you even more excited for December 16? Let us know in the comments below and on social media.
