Watch the IMAX Rogue One TV Spot with All-New Footage
Another day closer to the worldwide premiere of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, another Rogue One TV spot. This time from IMAX and it features all new footage and dialogue…
We are a mere seven days away from the worldwide premiere of the very first Star Wars standalone film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and today, thanks to the fine folks at IMAX, we have an all-new Rogue One TV spot featuring never before seen footage, as well as never before heard audio. Check it out:
As you can see, this IMAX Rogue One TV Spot has longer cut scenes of other trailers that have been released by Lucasfilm, thus far. Krennic saying “It’s beautiful” while watching the Death Star destroy Jedha city, only serves to show how cruel, and fantastic of a villain he will be in the film.
In fact, Krennic’s lust for power is a nice juxtaposition with Jyn Erso’s “The time to fight is now!” speech. Krennic seems like the perfect Star Wars villain, with his white cape, and his power-speeches. I am very glad that Lucasfilm hasn’t revealed too much about him, through all the trailers, teasers, and TV spots.
"From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves. In theaters December 2016. Rated: PG-13 — StarWars.com"
