Now that you’ve seen the film, it’s time to take a look back at the amazing locations where filming for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story took place…

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has been a smashing success, and with the film heading into its second week in theaters, it doesn’t look like there will be any stopping Disney and Lucasfilm’s juggernaut Star Wars franchise. As you know, Rogue One is the very first Star Wars standalone film in a series of three planned by Lucasfilm. Han Solo is up next, and after that, well, the mystery continues.

If you caught yourself in awe of the amazing locations in Rogue One, then you weren’t alone, as many Star Wars fans enjoyed new Star Wars canon planets like Jedha, Scarif, and Eadu. Now, thanks to a new video from Lucasfilm titled Rouge One: A Star Wars Story “Locations” featurette, we can get a look behind the scenes of those beautiful filming spots. Check it out:

I think my favorite planet in Rogue One had to be Jedha, simply for the fact that it was once a place of great Force power for the Jedi Order. However, Eadu was neat as well, especially the X-Wing night attack scene on the Imperial base there.

Interestingly enough, the planet that seemed like a vacation for all the actors involved in the film, Scarif, was where all the carnage, death, and destruction took place. Scarif is where our heroes made their last stand, and those were some very memorable moments.
