Star Wars: Episode VIII Lands on Top of Fandango’s List of Most Anticipated 2017 Films
Now that Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has had its theatrical debut, and we are heading into 2017, Fandango has compiled a list of most anticipated films of 2017, and Star Wars: Episode VIII is number one on that list…
According to a fan survey held by Fandango, Star Wars Episode VIII is the most anticipated film of 2017. With the massive success of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, topping the worldwide box office at $615 million in just two weeks, Episode VIII is sure to draw an even larger audience, and so the hype around the film is at an all time high.
Star Wars: Episode VIII isn’t the only Disney film sitting on the list from Fandango. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, as well as Beauty of the Beast.
Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis had this to say about the list:
"“The new year promises a lot of excitement at the multiplex with a much-heralded return of beloved characters and stories highlighting the year’s top three most anticipated movies, ‘Episode VIII,’ ‘Guardians 2,’ and the live-action ‘Beauty and the Beast’.”"
