During an interview with MTV, Diego Luna dodged questions about his Rogue One character reappearing in the Han Solo standalone movie.

Diego Luna’s Rogue One character Cassian Andor may not have a future. But he still has a history, and we may glimpse it in the upcoming Han Solo movie.

In an interview on the Golden Globes red carpet, Luna reacted…oddly when the MTV reporter asked him if his character reappears in the Han Solo spinoff. Check out the video for yourself below.

Keep in mind, no one can give a straight answer about Star Wars cameos. Star Wars celebrities and Lucasfilm, in general, are extremely close-mouthed about anything smelling of spoilers. Luna might not be above pulling Star Wars fans’ legs. But non-answers like Luna’s are powerful. If he had no cameo in the Han Solo movie, he could have come straight out and said so.

Luna certainly danced around the question a lot. He didn’t make much eye contact with the interviewer. And in the end, all he had to say was (after some pondering): “I don’t have an answer for that.”

I could see Cassian Andor making a cameo in the Han Solo movie. He is an intelligence officer and a recruiter. Solo (played by Alden Ehrenreich) could easily run into him while they are gallivanting through space on their separate missions. And the cameo would give the charming Luna and his character, who dies in Rogue One, more much-needed screentime.
