Game of Thrones meets Star Wars: The Last Jedi in this fan-made video

There are no greater fandoms in the world than Game of Thrones and Star Wars, and when the two meet, something epic always happens….

It has been a while since Game of Thrones Season 6 ended, in fact, Season 7 is nearly finished filming, and will air on HBO sometime this summer. On the Star Wars side of things, fans were recently gifted the title of Star Wars: Episode VIII as being “The Last Jedi.”

For now, both fandoms wait: Game of Thrones fans wait for Season 7, and Star Wars fans wait for the first teaser/trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Thankfully there is the internet to keep our minds preoccupied until then, and thanks to YouTuber LA, we have the perfect Game of Thrones and Star Wars mashup to scratch both those particular itches. Check it out:

Of course, this isn’t the first time Star Wars and Game of Thrones collided in an awesome fan-made mashup during Season 6. The much ballyhooed scene at the Tower of Joy was turned into one of the best lightsaber battles since Obi-Wan vs Anakin in Revenge of the Sith.

And finally, one of my personal favorites include Jon Snow yet again, as he battles White Walker in Season 5’s “Hardhome.”

These fan-made video mashups are fantastic and only serve to help us pass the long night (that’s a Game of Thrones joke) until we do finally get that first Star Wars: The Last Jedi teaser/trailer.
