The cast of the as yet untitled Star Wars Han Solo film has taken their first group photo, and as one might expect, it has set the internet afire….
StarWars.com has just posted the very first group photo of the cast of the untitled Han Solo film, which is set to be the second Star Wars standalone film after 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Oh, and as an added bonus, they’re all in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon.

According to StarWars.com, principal photography began on the untitled Han Solo film on Monday, February 20, at Pinewood studios in London. And, as we learned, the plot of the film will dive into Han and Lando’s friendship before the events of the original Star Wars trilogy.
"The movie will explore the duo’s adventures before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, including their early encounters with that other card-playing rogue from a galaxy far, far away, Lando Calrissian."
In the photo, directors Phil Lord (right) and Christopher Miller (left) are co-piloting the falcon, with cast members Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo (middle), Emilia Clarke in an unnamed role (middle), Woody Harrelson in an unnamed role (left), Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian (right), Thandie Newton in an unnamed role (not pictured), and Phoebe Waller-Bridge in an unnamed role (left), with Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca.
Thandie Newton recently had a breakout performance on HBO’s Westworld as Maeve Millay, and Joonas Suotamo took over the backup role as Chewbacca from Peter Mayhew — in The Force Awakens — when the elder actor’s knee’s and back would no longer allow him to perform some of the more action heavy scenes.
