Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is coming home to Blu-Ray on April 4th, so we’ve assembled a guide to the exclusive editions available at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and Target.
Rogue One releases on Blu-Ray on April 4th, which means it’s time to choose which store to buy your copy of the film from. To help you decide, we’ve assembled a guide to Wal-Mart, Target, and Best Buy’s exclusive editions of Rogue One on home video.

If all the editions include the same bonus content, why spend more money on an exclusive? To be honest, the exclusives’ uniqueness lies mainly in their fancy packaging. Only Target’s edition offers more bonus content than that listed above. Still, we want our Rogue One Blu-Rays to look good on the shelves, right? And extra content and discs are nothing to sneeze at, either. So let’s get to them.
Wal-Mart’s exclusive Rogue One home video offering set comes with three movie discs (two Blu-Ray and one DVD, plus a Digital HD code) and two Galactic Connexions discs from Topps. As an added feature, the set’s slipcover folds out. Take a gander at it below.

Best Buy’s exclusive Rogue One Blu Ray/DVD package is the most aesthetically pleasing of the three we cover in this article. The 4-disc set (one Blu-Ray 3D disc, two Blu-Ray discs and one DVD, with a Digital HD code) is packaged in Steelbook format. Deathtroopers and stormtroopers efface the front and back covers. Check the Steelbook’s full design below.

Target’s Rogue One exclusive is the most tempting of the three editions with regard to content. Target’s set comes with a whopping 5 discs (one Blu-Ray 3D disc, two Blu Ray discs and two DVD discs, plus a Digital HD code) and 5 interchangeable covers, each featuring a different Rogue One character. The best part about Target’s Blu-Ray offering, however, is the promise of exclusive bonus content.

Rogue One will also release in Digital HD for viewers who want to keep everything electronic. But StarWars.com warns that “Digital bonus offerings may vary by retailer.” If you want as many bonus Rogue One features as possible, consider purchasing the physical edition from Target.
We will add to this post as more Rogue One home video editions are revealed.
