Did Daisy Ridley just drop a huge The Last Jedi spoiler?

Daisy Ridley and the rest of the cast of Star Wars: The Last Jedi are heading to Orlando, Florida, to prepare for this weekend’s Star Wars Celebration, and the star may have let slip a major spoiler….

Daisy Ridley has millions of adoring fans, and she never shies away from posting fun little videos on her Instagram account or on Facebook. The star of The Force Awakens, and the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi, was asked a silly question about who would walk her character, Rey, down the aisle, should she get married. Check it out:

"“If Rey got married, would her parents come to her wedding? And if so, who would they be?”"

Ridley: “I think Luke would probably give her away.”

Since The Force Awakens premiered in theaters in 2015, Star Wars fans have been jumping the shark with “Who are Rey’s Parents?” theories.

Now, I would like to go on record as saying, Ridley could just be having a bit of fun with the guy asking the questions. But, there’s always a chance she may have slipped up, and given us all the answer we’ve been craving for, for a year and a half.

Is Luke Skywalker Rey’s father? And, if so, who is her mother? We know Luke’s first words to Rey in Star Wars: The Last Jedi are: “Who are you?” but that could literally mean anything. Rey was left on Jakku when she was a little girl, and by the time she tracks him down on Ahch-To, he may not recognize her.
