Some new information regarding the second trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi has come to light….
It’s been two months since Star Wars Celebration 2017 and the premiere of the very first Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer. Now, as we turn our eyes toward the D23 Expo, July 14-16, we begin to wonder if we will see the second trailer for the film there.
A Redditor on the popular subreddit Star Wars Leaks has discovered the British Board of Film Classification has posted the classification for a new trailer for The Last Jedi, which means we are fast approaching the next look at the film.

As you can see, this particular classification is for Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer B, to be shown in 3D or IMAX, and has a runtime of 1:31, and is classified as “PG.” There is also a classification for 2D.
What we can glean from this info is a second The Last Jedi trailer has been approved to be shown in theaters worldwide. And, since Disney owns both Marvel and Lucasfilm, the first real chance for the House of Mouse to demonstrate its power in the theater, would be with Spider-Man: Homecoming which debuts on July 7.
A week after Spider-Man: Homing’s debut, is D23, which could also be the perfect spot for the second trailer for The Last Jedi, but this could pose a third option for Lucasfilm, as it would be a perfect showcase for a Behind the Scenes Sizzle Reel for the film.
Either way, we now have some firm information on when we might see the second trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and if I had to hazard a guess, I would say keep your eyes peeled on the official Star Wars YouTube channel, on Tuesday, July 4.
