Will there be a new The Last Jedi trailer at D23?
D23 starts today, Friday, July 14, and the question on everyone’s mind is if we’ll get a new The Last Jedi trailer from the Expo…
The Disney D23 Expo kicked off last night with an announcement about Star Wars Land, which excited fans and piqued their interests on whether or not we will see an all-new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer.
During The Star Wars Show’s D23 special, it was announced that the Lucasfilm will take center stage to reveal its upcoming lineup of films and that there is usually a behind the scenes look. Check it out at the 1:00 mark.

I would hazard a guess that we may not get a full-on The Last Jedi trailer at D23, as Lucasfilm has been known to release the official second trailer for a film during the NFL season, and usually during a big game.
To me, it appears that we will, in fact, get a behind the scenes look at The Last Jedi during the panel, which will most likely happen at the end, and Lucasfilm president, Kathleen Kennedy asks the crowd if they want to see something special, and the lights dim as a BTS Sizzle Reel appears on the big screen.
We know that The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson will be at D23, so it would make perfect sense that we will see some new footage and information on Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
