Ron Howard has enthusiastically embraced his role as the replacement director for the untitled Han Solo Star Wars film. The Academy Award-winning director has posted multiple photos from the set of Han Solo, renewing Star Wars fans’ interest in the movie.
Recently, Howard posted a photo of an R2 unit-looking droid to his Instagram account. Check it out:
This isn’t the only “droid photo” he has posted recently, as he took to twitter with something slightly different, which might have confirmed a role for his brother, Clint Howard, in the Han Solo film.

Well now, that certainly would be a fun cameo to see. Howard also spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the status of the film, saying it is “coming along great.”
"It’s a fantastic script, a great cast and I am having a fantastic creative experience with it."
I think it’s safe to say that with Ron Howard at the helm of the film, Star Wars: Han Solo might actually have a shot at being a fun, action-packed Star Wars film, that will fit right in with the rest of the saga.
