Ron Howard — Acadamy Award-winning director for A Beautiful Mind — continues to show his love for Star Wars and its dedicated fans, by sharing more photos via his Twitter account, on what is now becoming a bi-weekly trend. Here’s the latest via his personal Twitter:
We know already that the untitled Star Wars: Han Solo story will focus primarily on the origins of the friendship between Han Solo and Lando Calrissian, featuring how Lando lost the Falcon in an epic game of Sabaac to Han.
Of late, Howard has been sharing some photos of the furry Wookiees, hinting at the fact that we will indeed spend some time on Kashyyyk, where we will most likely learn the origins story of the heroic acts of Han that lead to Chewie’s life debt owed to the scoundrel.

The untitled Han Solo Star Wars story is now being filmed and directed by Ron Howard (replacing the recently fired Lord and Miller) and will star:
- Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo.
- Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian.
- Woody Harrelson as Beckett (Han Solo’s mentor).
- Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) in an unnamed role.
- Thandie Newton (Westworld) in an unnamed role.
- Michael K. Williams (The Wire) in an unnamed role.
- Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Amazon’s Fleabag) in an unnamed role.
- Joonas Suotamo as the mighty Chewbacca
