Star Wars actor Adam Driver discusses his character, Kylo Ren, in The Last Jedi…
When last we saw Kylo Ren in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, he had been defeated by an untrained scavenger girl named Rey. Supreme Leader Snoke learned of his pupil’s fate and sent General Hux to retrieve so that he could complete his training.
Speaking with Today, the actor behind Kylo Ren — Adam Driver — had a cryptic tease for what Star Wars fans as to the fate of his character in The Last Jedi.
Host Willie Geist asked Driver if Star Wars fans would be happy with Kylo Ren’s fate in The Last Jedi.
"God, I hope. I think it will be hopefully unexpected."

Take that comment as you will, and you should also down it with a grain of salt, but it appears as if there might be some sort of twist when it comes to Kylo Ren in the film. What might that twist be?
There are several paths director Rian Johnson could take the grandson of Darth Vader-nee Anakin Skywalker. Kylo Ren could be redeemed to the Light by his uncle, Luke. Or, he could be killed by Rey in some sort of climactic duel. Regardless, Driver’s statement leaves the door wide open for loads of speculation until December 15, with The Last Jedi hits theaters.
