Her Universe celebrates Force Friday II in style

Geek is chic! At least it is when you’re sporting anything designed by the magical Ashley Eckstein. Ashley’s company, Her Universe, is committed to providing fangirls of all ages with clothing that is versatile and truly fashionable. Once upon a time, fan fashion was more geared toward men, but no longer! Companies like Her Universe and Hot Topic have been helping to shift that trend and provide ways for women to fashionably support their fandoms.

Amongst other incredible events and sales being held this weekend, Her Universe has gifted us with a Force Friday II line of geek fashion. Every piece of clothing released for this line (and everything they’ve created generally) is exquisite and completely appropriate for any number of occasions. From sweaters to leggings, this line has something for everyone. One of my favorite pieces is a black, knit sweater with the rebel insignia displayed on the front in white (I’ve already ordered it and plan on wearing it just about every day). If you’re wanting to stock up on sweaters for the fall and winter season and you also love Star Wars, then look no further!

This line includes two pairs of leggings. One is a floral, Rebel Alliance legging and the other sports both rebel and imperial insignia. Who doesn’t love a good pair of leggings? Both pairs of leggings are incredibly versatile – wear them around the house with a big sweatshirt and some slippers, or throw on a tunic and wear them at work with a pair of heels.

There are several new t-shirts and sweatshirts on the site as well: a raglan muscle tee displaying the millennium falcon and character silhouettes from the last Jedi, a tour tee (which will be available later this week) whose cold shoulder gives a not to Rey’s new Jedi apparel, and a retro, neon Luke Skywalker tee, amongst others.

On her Facebook page, you can find a video where Ashley walks fans through the new apparel released for this special weekend and gives a little sneak peek at the things stuff they have planned for the coming months leading up to The Last Jedi. Ashley promises a whole lot of “Porg fashion” in the future, and I, for one, am ecstatic (I mean, how cute are those little guys?).
