A new rumor has surfaced regarding a completed trailer for the untitled Star Wars: Han Solo film…
With the mess surrounding the upcoming Han Solo film, highlighted by the firing of the movie’s (former) directors Lord and Miller, Kathleen Kennedy and Lucasfilm have been in total damage control mode. In a move wise beyond the years of Jedi Master Yoda, Lucasfilm brought in veteran director Ron Howard to fly the Falcon to safety — so to speak — easing the hearts and minds of Star Wars fans across the galaxy.
Now, thanks to an unofficial report from Jordan Maison — artist for Star Wars Topps — we have some more (potential) good news, that a Han Solo trailer could hit the airwaves sooner than later:

Ron Howard has been very active on social media since he took over as the project’s head honcho, where he’s given us exclusive behind the scenes images and raw footage from the set of the film — serving in place of an actual trailer for now, which fans have been dying to lay eyes upon for many moons. Outside of the normal yearning for any trailer Star Wars related, this one is the most crucial for any film to date, with so many fans telling us of their displeasure of even the film’s existence in the first place. Han Solo is such a beloved and iconic character that Lucasfilm has to get this film right or the fan-base could be shaken for many years to come.
Next: Rumor: Darth Vader could appear in Star Wars: Han Solo
As rumors go, you always have to take them with a grain of salt, but if this is, in fact, true, we could see a Han Solo trailer during the opening previews for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which would be a perfect way to kick Episode VIII off with a bang, as well as setting the tone for what the film will provide within a galaxy far, far away.
The (still) untitled Han Solo film is scheduled to release worldwide in May of 2018.
